  • Cognitive - Behavioral strategies
  • Restructuring bedtime habits
  • Restricting time in bed
  • Relaxation training
  • Improved Sleep Habits or Hygiene
  • Avoid large meals and exercise prior to bedtime
  • Minimize light, noise, and temperature
  • Prescription Medication

Chronic insomnia may lead to decreased alertness at work.
